Below are our hours of operation for this weekend at both locations:

Plymouth (Golden Gem) Landfill:

Thursday (Nov 26th) – CLOSED

Friday (Nov 27th) – 7 am – 5 pm (tentative hours, call to confirm)

Saturday (Nov 28th) – CLOSED

Mt Dora (SR 46) Landfill:

Thursday (Nov 26th) – CLOSED

Friday (Nov 27th) – 7 am – 5pm

Saturday (Nov 28th) – 7 am – 2pm

We now have dump trucks!!

Mid Florida Materials is happy to announce that we have added two dump trucks to our fleet.  We can now deliver dirt and aggregate to jobs in the Central Florida Area.  Please call us for additional information and pricing.

Girl Scouts Landfill Tour

On Wednesday, September 16, 2020, Mid Florida Material’s Plymouth location had a visit from Girl Scout Troop 9596.  The purpose of the visit was to see how a landfill operates. The Girl Scouts also learned about our recycling efforts and how we are contributing to saving the Earth’s resources for future generations.

 

 

 

 

Labor Day 2020

Both Mid Florida Materials locations are open throughout the weekend.

Saturday hours – 7 am – 12 pm (Plymouth and Mt Dora)

Monday hours – 7 am – 5 pm (Plymouth and Mt Dora)

Memorial Day 2020

In observance of Memorial Day, our Mt Dora Landfill will be operating on Saturday, May 23rd from 6:30am -12pm.  The Plymouth site will be closed all day.

Both the Plymouth and Mt Dora locations will be closed on Monday, May 25th.  We will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, May 26th at both locations.

Mid Florida Materials Operating Hours

Mid Florida Materials will be operating normal business hours until advised differently from the State.

Mt Dora:

Monday – Friday: 6am to 5pm

Saturday: 6am to 2pm

 

Plymouth:

Monday – Friday : 7am to 5pm

**Please note, we will only be closed at Plymouth on Saturday’s during the Corona Virus.  Plymouth will be open on Saturday’s once these issues have passed.

Additional Fees Starting May 1, 2020

We would like to inform you, our valued customers, this was not an easy decision for us to make.  Due to increased costs of operations primarily for regulatory requirements we feel this was the proper way to cover the costs of operations.  We hope you understand and look forward to your continued patronage.

 

Environmental Fee –           $4.00 per ticket

Waste Water Fee –               7%

Fuel Surcharge –                    3%

Regulatory Recovery Fee –  $.75 per ticket

C&D Plymouth-                       $6.50 per cu. yd          Minimum Load- $65.00                  Effective Jan. 1, 2020

C&D Mt. Dora-                        $5.50 per cu. yd          Minimum Load- $50.00                  Effective Jan, 1, 2020

 

All Fee amounts will be held until January 1, 2021.

 

 

Bob Randolph Trucking Asset Acquisition

On January 31, 2020, Mid Florida Materials acquired Bob Randolph Trucking Roll Off Division’s assets.  This acquisition brings our fleet of roll off trucks up to a total of 35.  We welcome all of Bob Randolph’s customer into the Mid Florida Materials family.  We would also like to thank all of our customers that have been with us from the beginning and the ones that have joined us along the way.  We appreciate the loyalty that our customers have shown us through the years and look forward to expanding our presence in the Central Florida Marketing in the coming years.
