On February 2-3, Mid Florida Materials attended the 2017 FTBA (Florida Transportation Builders Association) Conference that was held at the Hyatt Regency Orlando.  The conference was full of educational sessions for attendees as well as a ballroom full of exhibitors with booths stocked with information and goodies for the attendees.  Mid Florida Materials was an exhibitor during the duration of the event and had a great time meeting new contacts and catching up with old friends.  Mid Florida Materials was there to promote our Class III/C&D Recycle and Disposal Facility and borrow pit, as well as our roll off dumpster services.  We provide 10, 20, 30, and 40 yard containers for C&D, land clearing, and concrete. Mid Florida Materials looks forward to attending many other conferences in the coming year crossing over into many different industries.

Mid Florida Materials would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.  In observance of the holiday, Mid Florida Materials will be closed Thursday, November 24th and will be reopen at 7am on Friday November 25th.  We will be operating our normal hours throughout the remainder of the weekend (Friday 7am – 5pm & Saturday 7am – 2pm).

Mid Florida Materials is proud to announce that we are now franchised in Osceola County.  With the large amount of growth expected in Osceola County over the coming years, we are looking forward to the opportunity of servicing the number of construction firms that will be working in the area.

Mid Florida Materials provides roll off dumpster services as well as materials such as fill dirt, clay, top soil, and recycled crushed concrete.  We have owned and operated our landfill for the last 30 years.  Since we bring most of the materials back to our landfill, it allows our pricing to be very competitive for our roll off services.  Our typical turnaround time for placement of dumpsters and pulls is 24 hours.  We look forward to adding more cities and counties to our service areas as our business continues to grow.

Mid Florida Materials will be closed Friday, October 7th due to Hurricane Matthew.  We will be reopen on Saturday, October 8th operating regular business hours: 7am – 2pm.

Mid Florida Materials is pleased to announce that we have added concrete washout containers to our services.  The containers have been added to our line of services as another way of contributing to saving the Earth’s resources for future generations. The concrete washout containers are a safe and environmentally friendly way to remove the concrete washout materials from the job site rather than allowing the run off to trickle into the local water ways.  The washout containers are delivered by our roll off trucks and are removed when the customer is ready for the container to be emptied.  Once the concrete is brought to the Mid Florida Materials’ landfill, it is recycled into various sizes for future construction projects.  Our containers can be used not just for concrete, but to collect other materials such as masonry or stucco. The washout containers are small, compact, and can be used for construction projects large or small.
