Mid Florida Materials & FAPPO Trade Show 2016

Mid Florida Materials thanks all of the attendees of the 49th Annual Florida Association of Public Procurement Officials, Inc. (FAPPO) Trade Show that stopped by our booth.  The turnout for the event was great and we look forward to seeing you all again next year.  As you can see in the photo of our booth, we displayed a number of the materials that Mid Florida Materials provides (fill dirt, clay, sand/clay, top soil, mulch, #57 concrete, and concrete fines).  All of the items that we had on display come from either our borrow pit or are a result of items we brought into our facility and recycled.  Not only were we advertising the materials we sell, we were also letting those who were not aware, that we have recently expanded into the roll off side of the business.  We now offer dumpster rentals and roll off services for Class III and C&D Materials.  It was a pleasure meeting everyone and we look forward to working with all of the municipalities throughout Florida.

Scale House Adds Second Scale

On November 22, Mid Florida Materials completed the installation of a second scale. The added scale will allow MFM to increase the capacity of the scale house. This means that trucks will see shortened in line wait times to get their tickets and empty their loads. By getting their tickets quicker haulers should be able to increase the number of loads carried in a day.
